The "Leaders Forum – Shaping the Global Sustainability Agenda" will take place at the University of St. Gallen and the Impact Hub Zürich. The Global Sustainability Agenda is a collective movement to increase social progress around the world, shaped by prominent institutions and global leaders. This three-day forum brings together leaders from business, NGOs, public organizations and social enterprises, as well as university staff, students and the general public.
Dr. Mathis Wackernagel, president of Global Footprint Network, will be speaking at the Forum.

Dr. Mathis Wackernagel, president of Global Footprint Network, will speak on the Living Planet Report 2014 and Ecological Footprint accounting. The Living Planet Report is the world’s leading, science-based analysis of the health of our planet and the impact of human activity, and was published in September 2014 by Global Footprint Network, WWF and the Zoological Society of London. Dr. Wackernagel is co-creator of the Ecological Footprint and has worked on sustainability on six continents and lectured at more than 100 universities. His awards include the 2013 Prix Nature Swisscanto, the 2012 Blue Planet Prize, the 2012 Binding Prize for Environmental Conservation, the 2011 Zayed International Prize for the Environment, a 2007 Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, a 2006 WWF Award for Conservation Merit and the 2005 Herman Daly Award of the U.S. Society for Ecological Economics.Click here to purchase tickets to the event.
